I really enjoyed the class as it made a nice change from sitting at the computer getting frustrated with software. We had a couple of different tasks to do including quick 2 minute and 5 minute poses, which were rather unsuccessful as I am not used to drawing so quickly. We then moved on to longer poses and also had a really difficult task. We had to draw for 10 minutes without looking at our paper, just looking at the details of the model. It was soooo hard not to look at what you were drawing and the results were hilarious! They looked nothing like a proper person, but they were quite 'modern arty'.
I learned a few techniques about measuring angles and lengths in order to get proportions right and I am really looking forward to developing my skills a lot more over the course of the module.
